For most of time, we ship samples or documents by door-to-door express service by companies such as DHL, FeDEx, UPS, Aramex, etc.
This is the fastest way of shipping. So, if time is the issue, the service is most proper to use. But the cost of service is normally the highest. Thus, it is better to ship light weight or smaller sized package.
And also because the speed is fast, the service contains high safety for the parcel, too.
We have cooperated with agents of the service suppliers to ship with cheaper price. But for some circumstances, we cooperate with the suppliers such as FeDex, DHL, etc. since we have their accounts.
Air freight is somewhat perplexing. Although the cost is cheaper than express service, there is a limitation to remain its cost performance.
As we have been experienced, to remain the cost performance of air freight, we have to ensure the weight of the parcel is big enough (normally no less than 100kg) and the size of packing the smaller the better. Otherwise, the cost may even higher than door-to-door service.
And although the speed of air shipping is fast, too, consignee has to pick the package on the airport. This is somewhat inconvenient for some clients.
So, unless it is really in hurry, the air freight should be used very carefully. But if it is really an issue, air freight is still a good choice.
For batch order, sea freight is most cost-effective way of shipping.
There is LCL (less than container load) and FCL(full container load) for packing of sea freight according to the quantity of goods. But no matter in which way of packing, the cost is normally lower cause there are many suppliers share the same cargo vessel.
So, this is a common way of shipping.
However, all of us can’t help to notice that it normally takes longer time for the vessel to arrival. As our experience, it normally takes 25 ~ 45 days to arrive according to the country of destination.
To pickup the order from your port of destination, B/L is normally required. We are sure to issue timely. And it is not a problem for us to send physical version of original sheet or to telex release as required.
